Once a year, each member will have the opportunity to submit one candidate who they feel meet established criteria for induction to the Hall of Fame. The full list of these submissions with bios are distributed to the membership who then select their best choices - usually, 10 to 15. From this list, the President then selects the individuals with the most votes for induction.

The induction ceremony, banquet and I&E show are traditionally scheduled for April or May.
